SLOWER LOWER FILM FESTIVAL: CALL FOR ENTRIES

It’s time for local filmmakers to wrap up their production and send it in for consideration to Revival House’s annual Slower Lower Short Film Festival at the Milton Theatre on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The annual event highlights the region’s top filmmakers and is the premier short film festival in Delaware.

The Slower Lower Short Film Festival welcomes filmmakers of all ages to submit their original works for consideration. Seasoned professionals or up-and-coming visionaries alike are encouraged to share their stories with a big-screen audience. As with all Revival House’s local film festivals, there is absolutely no cost to filmmakers who submit films for consideration.

From dramas to comedies, from animation to sci-fi,  the Slower Lower Short Film Festival will celebrate the diverse world of independent filmmakers from around the area. The screenings will be followed by an on-stage Q&A with the filmmakers to share their cinematic journeys with audience members.

Please submit films that are less than 30 minutes in length. To enter, filmmakers must simply submit a waiver (located to the right below). The submission deadline is May 28 at midnight.

Selected entries will be notified via email, and those filmmakers will have the opportunity to showcase their work on the big screen at the historic Milton Theatre.

Tickets for the event are only $10, and $5 for students and seniors.
