​Well, before the crush of the summer tourist season gets in full swing and we locals bury our collective heads in the sand, we wanted to celebrate one last time with ev eryone with yet another Secret Cinema Club at The Listening Booth on
Monday, April 20 (4/20) @ 7 pm
The Secret Cinema Club is a little cinematic experiment in which we do not mention the title of the film we are screening, but merely drop little breadcrumbs online for our cinematic sleuths.
The event is FREE, but you still need to reserve your seat through The Listening Booth website.

Call for entries for the 2026 Slower Lower Film Fest
The Revival House is now accepting submissions for its annual Slower Lower Short Film Festival on Wednesday, May 20 at Milton Theatre.

For the past several years, The Revival House has been showcasing local filmmakers on the stage of the Milton Theatre, and we are stoked to see what local talent we can share with crowds once again!
​
There is no cost for submission. Simply fill out the Waiver below and submit to therevivalhouse@gmail.com.

All films must be submitted to the same email by Friday, May 15.


The Revival House is back to haunt the Milton Theatre for an eighth year with the return of its highly anticipated Horror Trailer Challenge on Friday, October 17, with doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Filmmakers of all levels are encouraged to uncage their creativity with original horror movie trailers, and viewers are invited to witness an evening of macabre moviemaking.

We will announce ON Wednesday, October 8th at 5pm the line of dialogue and a prop to include, so that we know you made this trailer specifically for this challenge.​ Just be sure to include the line of dialogue and the prop from the video, and submit it to us at therevivalhouse@gmail.com

You must fill out and submit the following waiver to enter: Horror Trailer Contest waiver

Submitting a film is free, and local filmmakers from around the region will compete for cash prizes. Winners must be present to accept their awards. Trailers should not exceed three minutes in length.
​
Doors for the event will open at 6:30 p.m., with the trailers to start screening at 7:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, the audience will be asked to vote for their top three submissions and, after the votes are tabulated, the evening’s winners will be announced.
​
The evening will be capped off with a Q&A session with all the filmmakers, who are invited to share their experiences of crafting their creations with the crowd and network with one another.
​
Tickets start at $8.20 for the event are available now through
the Milton Theatre website.
You can submit
a few ways:
1) Upload to Google Drive and share the
link with us (please enable sharing settings!)
2) Place it on a streaming platform (such as YouTube or Vimeo), set it to "private" and share it with us
3) Attach it to your email (if size allows)
When submitting, please make sure the film's TITLE and DIRECTOR(S) are included in the email. All directors will have their tickets comped for the event, so it's important we get your names. Email it to therevivalhouse@gmail.com
